Winter in the Rockies

Well, it's not exactly winter, but when we took Jeshurun up to Rocky Mountain National Park, it seemed like winter. We had a really nice day. After being here for four months, it was nice to see him. We had him for a few meals during the week, and then we spent Friday in the mountains. These are Elk -- we saw a lot of them.

This is about the furthest we were allowed to go on Trail Ridge Road. I think it was about 10,000 feet. The rest of the road was closed because of the heavy snowfall.

Bear Lake.

From Bear Lake, Joseph, Jeshurun and Julia went for a hike while I watched the napping kids in the truck. The following pictures are from the trail they went on.

Trail Ridge Road and Bear Lake! It seems like yesterday that I was there. Actually it was more than 30 years ago.
