Care and the Girls. I rented a wheel chair for Care since she'll need it for the next four weeks. She alternates between the crutches and the wheel chair, depending on the activity. Mom (Smith) was helping Care today -- as she has been -- and Care's mom will be in town on Saturday. Care can do a lot, really, and Julia helps a lot. Still, things are slow getting done, and since the knee doesn't hurt, Care feels the urge to walk on it.

Carolyn and Jenna. Care's sister Dena took this photo when she (Dena) was here in Tex to help after Care had her knee surgery. Care is here about four days after surgery. Though we though she'd be on crutches for about a week, the surgeon told us she'd be them for six weeks. However, family is certainly helping out -- both here in Tex and Dena and Care's mom.

Jenna Ashley. She has the brown hair and eyes of Joseph, but most people say her facial features are Carolyn's. Sep., 2007
