On the way home, 11 hours on the plane from Amsterdam to Houston. We went from snow in Scotland and the Netherlands to 85 F in Texas.
Anna Marie holding Jenna. We stayed with Mia Weprin's sister and her family on their farm in Barneveld. Not the best picture of Anna Marie, hopefully Barry will get us some better pictures soon.
On our last day in Holland, we went to visit Carolyn's great Aunt Reka (on the right) and Jansije, on the left, Care's first cousin once removed. Barry Weprin, from our congregation in Texas, was there as our interpreter. It was a very nice visit. They live in Barneveld.

Carolyn and the girls in Putten, where her Oma lived before she immigrated to Canada. This is the spot where the old Schuit house stood, only a few yards further back from where the new house stands. Joseph knocked on the door, and the man took us around the property and then had us in for coffee. He and his wife were very nice -- but they had almost no English! Still, we managed to communicate with the Dutc that Carolyn has.

The photo below was taken at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh. It was cold and windy -- about thirty minutes after the photo was taken it started snowing

In Fort William

On March 19th we drove with Jett and Ev to Fort William, where Uncle Lyle and family are staying. Rachel and Peter came down with their two kids, so there were six children under the age of three. We saw the deer on the way to Ft W.
